Sabina Letang was born and raised in the Bronx and currently lives in Oakland, CA.  

Her forthcoming memoir is about being a caregiver, advocate, and witness as her mother succumbed to the long-term effects of diabetes and dementia. She tells the story in a series of vignettes and flash essays, centering an experiential narrative.

Previously, Sabina was a Principal Tech Writer at Oracle-NetSuite. Now she is an English instructor and co-coordinator of the Puente program at Merritt College. She also leads a creative writing group at the San Francisco Senior Center.
